Horse Show Checklist

1. Bring 2 checks- 1 for the braider, 1 for entries

2. Get Hotel reservations

3. Clothes and equipment you are responsible for:

• Saddle
• Show pads
• Hat
• Chaps
• Paddock boots
• Show boots- polished
• Spurs & crop
• Boot rubbers
• Gloves
• Riding Coat
• Riding shirt with collar
• Britches
• Hair net & rubberbands or clips
• Boot socks
• Boot pulls
• Boot polish
• Rain gear
• Extra change of clothes
• Waterproof shoes
• Shadbelly, white shirt, stock tie and pin if riding in classic
• Belt

4. Be at the show at the trainer's specified time, if not early

5. Know your show schedule and courses in advance

6. Leave check in the office first day you arrrive at the show, if open check not already sent in
